Legal Cost Control, Inc. assists corporations, government entities, bankruptcy courts, insurance companies and individuals in the management and reduction of legal and accounting fees. LCC is committed to economical legal cost management through innovative approaches designed to meet client needs at minimum cost. Our staff is focused on client service and product quality.
History
In 1985, John J. Marquess, an experienced litigator, founded a company with the goal of assisting clients with internal legal cost management and due diligence responsibilities. The end result was improvement in billing practices by outside law firms. As the legal cost industry expanded, Mr. Marquess partnered with Patrick Woods and founded Legal Cost Control, Inc. ("LCC").
Since its inception, LCC has been successful in assisting some of the largest and most renowned corporations and organizations in controlling and reducing outside legal and accounting expense, while simultaneously improving both the partnership and quality of communication between the billing representatives and the client. As a result, LCC and its personnel are recognized as industry leaders in legal and accounting cost management.
What We Do
Legal Cost Control Inc. reviews invoices utilizing generally accepted legal auditing principles for the legal industry or generally accepted accounting auditing principles for the accounting industry, proprietary statistical computer analysis, client guidelines and attorney/accountant peer review to ensure the reasonableness and necessity of the fees submitted. These processes are utilized in each of LCC's core services, including Firm Auditing, Desk Invoice Reviews, Legal Services Assessments and Legal Bill Processing.
